Flower, as sweet as the morning

As beautiful as the bright sunshine on a beach

As lovely as a baby’s smile

As silent as the sea

As helpless as a log

Innocently, you blossom

And bring smiles to many

At functions you are displayed

In the sun you are left to dry and die

Yet you continue to blossom
