This is a story of hope. It is a story of my grandmother.
I know much about my grandmother as I don't. I have witnessed some moments of her life and the rest is contained in stories told by her and relatives. Every time my family gathers, conversations always centers on my grandmother, and this always is a beautiful moment.
I am so proud to be part of her life because most of the things that I know are as a result of my grandmother's old school wisdom. She is a bold woman who speaks her mind, objective yet soft hearted, tough but gentle. She whispers when she needs to yell. The silence in her voice is sweeter than honey. Her grace always humbles me, because of her optimistic personality, our home was always filled with laughter and hope, always in harmony. My grandmother is very hard working person. She is a smart woman who doesn't have much but makes a difference with what is available. She is my great example who points me to Christ the greatest example.
My grandmother is the great story I would love to share with the world today. I always thank her for bringing me up as a God fearing woman, always encouraged me to find my voice and always do the right thing to support humanity.
My grandmother is a farmer, who keeps nurturing positive power onto the ground to bring fourth sweet fruits of love and nourishment.
My grandmother is my cheerleader, often when I am struggling with academics, she would always say "Girl, keep going, have faith and work even harder next time, I am here to support you always."
When I am emotionally down, grandma would always say:"its okay to cry, it will help you cleanse your soul, but don't remain in tears because teary eyes cannot see properly and hence clouded judgement. And remember He who is above takes care of everything, talk to Him! "
This is a story packed with lessons of hope, it is a story of my grandmother.
My grandmother is a very kind and forgiving woman. One day, as I was ironing her clothes, I accidentally burnt her favorite dress, I cried bitterly knowing how disappointed she would be. Instead, she hugged me and told me it was alright, she forgave me. Even in this day, this still amazes me.
Today when the world needs healing, may the good Lord remove our stony hearts and replace them with hearts of flesh.
My grandmother is my true definition of strong, I always pray to even be half of the woman she is.
Given a chance, I would command the silence of the world, stop all the music from playing, share my grandmother's wisdom and lessons and change the world.
She is my living legend. I love you grandma.
