DECEMBER

You know it's December
When people long for smiles
Because they have walked miles
They are tired of seeing only floors
Looking up to knock on doors

 You know it's December
When goods and service industries close
And everything else pause
When families get together
Under a beautiful weather
To celebrate one another
Together break bread
And all the goodness spread

 You know it's December
When holiday is all you remember
When the warmth of the season is all you recall
 You know it's December
When there are sweet songs everywhere
And there are beautiful lights anywhere

It has been a long year
 And December is here
Let's remember
to go home
And celebrate our strength
With our families.

FOGGY NIGHT

Today, I woke up to a foggy dawn, the morning was cool, quiet and blurry. I could not see clearly.
I stood and watched the world through my window.  I saw the vegetation was all green and beautiful.
I then realized it was December. I looked at my Calendar and discovered how fast them months moved.
Tears rolling down my cheeks
as I remembered how I started my year on a foggy morning, unable to see clearly what the year would bring.
I remembered how the year unwrapped its venom: of pain, grief, betrayal, anguish.
It has been a rough year.
But I also remembered how beautiful it has been to receive the most precious gifts of peace, joy, happiness, laughter, love and growth.
Through it all, I learnt to STOP and SMELL the ROSES
To press through the fire, the pain and all.
I learnt to live passed the mourning
And here I am, LIVING despite it ALL
Today, it's a foggy night
I'm not able to see clearly
I do not know what the coming year has in store for me
But by faith, I will enter the fog, and see the morning
2019.I SEE YOU.

HAPPY NEW YEAR. I WISH YOU ALL A PEACEFULL 2024.
